Emaran Zero-Emission High-Speed Ferries for the Norwegian Market

Introduction

Echandia is participating in a consortium led by Norwegian shipping operator Rodne. The regional authorities have funded 5 consortiums in the coastal regions of Norway with the goal of finding solutions to high-speed passenger ferries.

Echandia has undertaken the analysis, energy calculations and sizing of the complete electric driveline including new-generation LTO batteries and optimised maritime fuel cell systems.
